Kinda late, but...
The first pre-alpha build for "Untitled" is now live!
I've been working on this project for a while now. So, it doesn't make sense to write my first devlog this late, you might ask. To which I say, you're right. I have no defense except, game dev be hard, yo.
Now, you might be wondering: "what's with this weird devlog format?". To be honest, I don't know either. I'm just going with the flow here.
So, I guess we'll talk again next time.
What? Is that it, you ask? Well, what more do I say? I guess I could talk about the game a bit. Hmmm... let's see, I can tell you the origin of the game's idea. But it's sort of a lame story, so if you aren't ready for that, I'd suggest not reading further.
A couple years back (I think), I decided to try out Game Maker Studio. So, I installed the trial version and started following the beginner tutorial. The tutorial was for creating a top-down basic survival, with enemies spawning randomly and chasing after the player. And the player character would follow the mouse. And that's when I thought, "Hey, wouldn't it be cool if instead of chasing the mouse, the character moved away from it?" And I made it do just that. The end.
What's with that look? I did warn you...
Anyway, I guess that's enough about the past. Let's look towards the future... of this game.
If the game changed so much since the original idea, then who knows how much it will change further? (Well, I should, but let's not go there)
Which is why, I want you, yes YOU, to help me out! By playing the game, and directing all your frustration towards me (in 300 words or less). Get an authentic unpaid internship experience, right from the comfort of your home! So, what are you waiting for? Go play!
